If you like RAM, you’ll like Denzel for sure.

Interesting recommendation…

New Crappy Theme!

How about this?! I think this new theme I created fits my blog perfectly. That is to say, my blog is crap. But you know my policy: “If you’re going to have feces lying around, don’t update it very often.”

ffffound.com

PlanesFound this new site today called FFFFound. Be careful, though. It’s easy to get lost following IYLTYMLT (If you like this, you might like these) links. Also, be careful, though. It’s not particularly work safe.

Fabchannel.com

I found this site that has a bunch of interesting full length concert videos. It’s call FabChannel. Here is a playlist of the more interesting videos from my perspective.

This is why!

This is why I hadn’t bought Guitar Hero. I knew that if I started playing it, I wouldn’t be able to stop. But a guy at work brought the game in and we played for about 2.5 hours…I was hooked. So, an hour later and $110 broker, I’m at home playing the damn game. Luckily I’m weak. My hands gave out before my mind was ready to quite. My hands are smart :) But that hasn’t stopped me from spending about 5 hours a day playing this game since I got it on Thursday.

I almost got tired of the game when I got to some hard-level songs that I couldn’t get past. But I decided to go ahead and try some of the easier expert-level songs today. I ended up getting through the first eight songs. And almost through the ninth (as you can see in the picture).

Guitar Hero II: So close...

Hopefully, I’ll reach a point where I’m not making much progress soon. That’s usually where I find something else to eat up my time :)

It’s true, isn’t it?

So rude, youtube.

Jeez YouTube… You didn’t have to be so blunt about it :(

Added more useless crap

Hey, all you people not reading this.  I just added some other stuff to ignore!  A twitter feed that I’m sure I’ll never keep up to date (I don’t exactly get it yet because I’m totally ancient.) and a flickr feed that I actually do update occasionally.

Why I really don’t want to fly these days.

This grandmother accidentally had a butter knife in her carry on luggage. The result? A $500 fine and she’s now considered a “terrorist”. Awesome! Good thing she didn’t have some water, too. They probably would have thrown her into airport jail immediately.

I’ve accidentally carried on my pocket leatherman a couple of times. I guess it’s a good thing they didn’t find it.

Austin Public Address Rental Recommendation

Musicmakers Logo

I volunteered to setup the public address system for a magic show this past weekend with only a few days notice. Panic, right? Wrong. Musicmaker Rentals totally saved my ass. I don’t want to know what they are smoking over there, but they were totally cool to me. They made sure I got exactly what I needed and were willing to throw in nice extras like a backup battery for the wireless mic and extra long cables. The price was right, and all the equipment worked flawlessly!

Anyway, it was such a nice experience I wanted to make sure they got some love out here on the t00bs.

I’m old.

One Terabyte Drive

I remember when I first saw a gigabyte drive. I freaked out. “The future is freakin’ here!”, I said.

Today at Best Buy I saw this external terabyte drive. I guess the future is still here.

To be fair, this is a case with two 500 gigabyte drives in it, but still. My first hard drive was an external 30 megabyte SCSI drive for my Mac Plus. It cost me $450 dollars (I was netting about $100 a week at the time!). This drive has more than 33,333 times the capacity. It’s likely 100 times faster. And it’s cheaper by quite a bit when inflation is factored in. Not bad for 17 years of progress.
